Poor Dean Sheremet!
The former Mr. LeAnn Rimes split from the country songstress back in 2009 after she admitted to fooling around with co-star Eddie Cibrian, but he STILL can't believe the heartbreaking secret Leann spilled over the phone.
The dancer-turned-chef admitted:
"I never saw it coming. You have that assumption that the person that you're with would never do something like that."
The worst part??! Dean also revealed that he found out because she said a magazine "may or may not have a picture of me and Eddie kissing," so it's safe to assume she only came clean about the affair because she got caught!
At least she had the decency to not wait for the magazine to come out??!
Dean might've been crushed in that instant, but don't feel TOO bad for him.
Even though Leann broke his sweet little heart, he's just fine now with how things played out because he still gets to use his ex-wifey's name to promote his new chef business!
Dean explained:
"It's fine because I've really laid low during the whole thing. It's part of my story and it's the reason that I get to do awesome cooking segments. Whatever it is that gets me in the door is fine. I'm really a chef!"
LOLz! Silver linings people!
LeAnn might be getting cuddly with a new cutie, but Dean is laughing all the way to the bank.
Anyway, he had no problem bouncing back with a new lady love! What kind of woman could resist a man who feeds her! HA!
