Prepare to kick yourselves, New Yorkers!

We know we sure are!

Banksy is the much talked about but never seen British graffiti artist who arrived in NYC last week for a one-month "show on the streets"!

He's already sprayed a few of his signature designs onto the sides of buildings, as well as unleashed a squealing truck of stuffed animals!

But yesterday he did the unthinkable…

HE SOLD HIS ARTWORK! FOR ONLY $60!!!

But being Banksy, of course he did it secretly!

Ch-ch-check out the video (below) and see how he set up a booth in Central Park in the middle of a busy Saturday afternoon!

His table was unmarked and the man sitting there was a decoy and not the artist himself.

Passers-by had no clue that the art they were walking by would in fact be valued well into the thousands!

But after nearly 7 hours, only THREE people stopped to purchase a painting!

And this booth ain't going to be open again! Banksy wrote on his website:

"Yesterday I set up a stall in the park selling 100% authentic original signed Banksy canvases. For $60 each. Please note: This was a one off. The stall will not be there again today."

Grrrr!!!

What we wouldn't give for one of these truly genius pieces!

Oh well. We guess we'll just admire his public works for the rest of his time in New York!
