It seems like Katy Perry is quite the positive influence on John Mayer, as fan Julie Fermin now knows firsthand!
The lovers just happened to waltz into the same NYC music shop that Julie and her friends were perusing Friday morning. And once inside, their presence alerted the fangirl hearts in everyone — including shop employees — to stop and gawk at the celebrity pair.
Noticing their admirers, John and KatyKat struck up a conversation with the fans. Julie admitted the whole situation was surreal, confessing:
"[My friends and I] started freaking out and getting super excited! [My] favorite singers!"
Meanwhile, Rudy's employee Brad Tertola made note of the genuine kindness shown by the couple, saying:
"They treated them so beautifully. They were just so comfortable and sweet and as nice as any couple."
But here's where the sweet apple pie crisps to perfection — the duo said their good-byes… but not before secretly telling the employee to put a guitar Julie picked out on JOHN'S TAB!!
