K-Pop and K-Drama Stars Have Bad Skin Days Too

K-pop Idols and K-drama stars always seem to have perfect skin, don’t they? But the truth is, many of your favorite stars struggle with their skin just like us, because after all, they’re human. From breakouts, to scars, to large pores, your favorite stars suffer from it all. But why do they always appear to have perfect skin? Well as a former makeup artist (it’s very true!) I can tell you a bit of primer and concealer can go a long way.

There’s also makeup, which is applied by using an actual airbrush, certain BB cream brands which have the power to cover everything, and of course good old-fashioned stage makeup and lighting. On top of all of that, there’s computer airbrushing, so of course all your favorite Idols and actors look perfect! However, even a few of them have moments were perfection just does not exist.

Below are photos of some of your favorites looking less than perfect. This isn’t an article to point out their imperfections; some of us fans get carried away with trying to achieve the “look” of those we admire. This is simply to show you that even Idols and actors can’t maintain perfect looks all the time. Even they have bad days, so you shouldn’t feel bad if you lack their skin perfection, because they lack it too!
