The woman is a comedy powerhouse! Which is why we are so glad to hear that she might soon be teaming up with director Paul Feig for a THIRD time!
These two have already worked together on Bridesmaids and The Heat, which made more than $440 million at the box office combined!
That's A LOT of funny money!
For Feig's next movie, he wanted to take on a female spy story. And who better to star in it than Melissa!
ZOMG! We're laughing already!
McCarthy is in early talks to take the lead in Susan Cooper, whose title character is being compared to James Bond, but with more laughs (we hope!)
We're glad Melissa isn't making the same mistake as Sandra Bullock and Kristen Wiig, who BOTH turned down the chance to work with Paul again in sequels to their hit movies!
Whether or not Melissa can play a believable secret agent remains to be seen. But one thing is for sure - this chick is batting a thousand when it comes to cracking us up!
