Who says that Korean women cannot have a major presence in the entertainment industry after having children?
2AM‘s Jung Jinwoon‘s mother is definitely heading in that direction, since she recently has set up her own entertainment company.
It has not really been a secret that Jinwoon came from a family with some money who supported his career, which is very different from many other idols. Jinwoon has previously discussed that his parents set up a soundproof practice room for him in their home. His mother made an appearance on a recent episode of We Got Married, where Jinwoon is coupled with the actress Go Junhee. She has also appeared with Jinwoon on KBS2′s Happy Sunday – Mamma Mia.
Her presence and role in her son’s career seems to have prompted Jinwoon’s mother to create an entertainment company. Although it seems that an idol group is in the works, there is no news yet as to when the company will debut a rookie.
